Original Neputa (float) Crafting

Yakumo is home to one of Hokkaido’s three biggest Andon Festivals, the Yakumo Dashi(Float) Festival. Every summer, the residents give all they can to crafting large floats to pull. It usually takes two months to create the massive floats, but here you can try making a miniature original Neputa for a taste of the festival spirit!
