軟白ネギの収穫体験/White Leek Harvesting

八雲町ではハウスで育てる甘くておいしい軟白ネギがとても有名。
他ではなかなか体験できない軟白ネギの収穫体験をしてみませんか？お土産に自分で収穫したネギを差し上げます。その場で焼いて食べることもできますよ♪

The greenhouse-grown sweet Nanpakunegi (white leek) are a famous Yakumo specialty. You can’t experience harvesting them yourself anywhere else, so why not give it a try? You can even take some home yourself as souvenirs. You can also cook and eat there!

9:00 野菜の説明・軟白ネギの収穫体験開始　→　9:30 収穫したネギの皮むき作業　→　10:00 収穫したネギをその場で焼いて試食

もち米農家で本格餅つき体験/Sticky Rice Pounding Experience

もち米生産団地として有名な八雲町では「風の子もち」という粘りやコシが特徴のもち米を多く生産しています。そんなもち米を作っている農家さんで先祖から代々受け継がれた伝統的な餅つきを体験し、つきたての美味しいお餅を食べてみませんか？

Sticky Rice is one of the most famous products that Yakumo Town produce. In this activity, you can experience the traditional sticky rice pounding in real farmer’s house. Why don’t you try pounding and eat fresh sticky rice?

和牛のお世話体験/Wagyu Cattle Care

冷涼な気候を生かした酪農業が盛んな八雲町。北海道における酪農発祥地とされています。
我々が普段食べている和牛のお世話を体験できます。子牛のミルクやりやエサやり、牛舎の見学や作業の見学、農家さんとの交流など、普段見られない、体験できない牧場のことをたくさん学べます。
広大な牧草地を眺めながら、北海道らしい体験をしてみませんか？

Yakumo’s cool climate is perfect for dairy farming. This area is considered the origin of the Hokkaido dairy industry. This activity lets you help care for Wagyu cattle, the same kind as are normally eaten in Japan. You can bottle feed calves, spread feed and take tours of the cattle barns and operations while you get to know the farmers, and learn about things you normally never could experience! Why not come and have a truly Hokkaido-esque experience as you look out over the wide green pastures?

＜参加条件＞
口蹄疫などの家畜の伝染病予防のため、外国人及び、外国に渡航歴のある人は、日本に1週間以上滞在していることが参加の条件となります。

<Participation conditions>
For the prevention of infectious diseases of livestoc, foreigners and those who have traveled abroad have to stay in Japan for one week or longer to participate in this activity.
